Who We Are

URRENO is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to the promotion of the “Safe System” context, providing advice on each of the Safe System pillars (road safety management, safe roads, safe speeds, safe vehicles, safe road users, and post-crash care) while recognizing that evidence-based solutions must be drawn from across pillars to produce effective road safety outcomes.

URRENO also promotes Occupational, Health and Safety, and Non-Motorized Transport (NMT) in Uganda, through the provision of expert advisory, consultancy and training services on road, water and work places.

We also carry out environmental and work place assessment, evaluation and surveys. We design health, safety and environment programs to suit situations, groups of individuals, organizations and Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies to look for solutions of different problems.

With a team of relevantly experienced professionals and with the support of internationally recognised partners, URRENO makes sure that every project undertaken meets national and international standards. We are always ready and glad to be of service to you.
