In order to guide road safety planning and measures, Kampala’s fourth annual road safety report examines data from police crashes in 2023. With assistance from the Uganda Police Directorate of Traffic and Road Safety, information was obtained from nine police stations located in the city’s five divisions: Nakawa, Central, Makindye, Kawempe, and Lubaga.
